I'm totaly amazed at this set up.......it's an original x-box (Not 360)

My friend has been going on about it got a few months now.
Basicaly using an glitch in splinter cell he installed linux on my xbox at the other day, onec that's on we was able to get the HDD lock code for the 8gig hdd, then using a linux PC we was acle to copy it to a 80 gig HDD (only spair i had ATM).

How ever i can now stram music/video/iso dvd's/photo's through the home CP to the x-box.
I can also copy x-box games to the HDD.

The wife has though discovered the emulators on it, she loves mario carts and that sort of stuff on the N64 and it's all on the x-box......

This is so much fun......

i know what u mean i have a chip in all of my xboxs. a 200 gbs hardrive.

its so fun and the videos and games on there are much easier than putting a disk in.

yep that the same program i got.

It's took a couple of hours to do but it's well cool. using a overflow glitch in splinter cell you can install it with out a mod chip as well.

yer in modding words its i think its called a soft mod i think. my brother is the expert.

its xbox media center.

i mostly have movies, on mine. i had golden eye on n64 on my xbox.

N64 rules for some reason!!!!!! guess it's coz it's old skoll!!!!!!

my m8 knows what he's doing when it modding i know nothing only on my home PC.

i have 3 xboxs with x3 chip and a back up x2 chip. i have a wireless ps2 modchip. but it was a rip. on the ps2 u can't get half the stuff on the xbox.

my brother is a bit artistic. sprayed abox case silver one with some stick think but its not that good. and the xbox case the green disk what says xbox we made a hole attached it onto a fan so it spins around and has a red light. only problem is that u think its going to fly off

i will put some pic

lol

I would do 4-5 years ago but cant be bothered now LOL

I not done it my self but do plenty of research first, if u want to keep your 8 gig drive then it's a simple install using a splinter cell saved game on the card
But you need to get the install on the card first some how, which i dont know sorry.

If you want to upgrade the HDD then it's a much harder process as each hard disk is locked to each x-box and you cant just sawp.

you need to get the code and then use a program to creat a new install and then instal that onth then new HDD, but this is done from a home PC not the xbox once you got it all copyied then it's ready to go......

But reasearch first and make sure u got the idea first as if u lose the locking code you then have to add a mod chip to bypass it.
