actually so long as you dont leave the music in your shared folder the police will leave you alone, there after the people that are actually sharing the music,
i buy my music anyway as i hate ripping of my favorite artists just giving adviseactually so long as you dont leave the music in your shared folder the police will leave you alone, there after the people that are actually sharing the music,
Limewire gives you the option *cough* persuades you *cough* to share your music when installing - the majority of people evidently do or limewire could not exist - and in the U.S it is now illegal to download it and the different as it stands with the UK is that they are prepared to enforce it - soon to spread over to our English legal system soon though.
Seriously stick with itunes music store - it will have full length movies at near dvd quality soon to be High Definition already has Music video's and albums often come with extra tracks, digital booklets and a video by the artist giving an insight into it's production such as the album Back to Basics by Christina Aguilera sold cheaper on itunes than in-store prices

I'm not fussed about the price for music downloads, I'm perfectly willing to pay that. What I hate is DRM. As soon as there is a music download site that I can download DRM-free mp3's of popular artists for less than £1 per track, then I will start buying downloads. As it is, I use limewire to try a few songs from an artist before buying a CD and ripping it. Unfortunately nowadays alot of CD's come with some kind of DRM or similar protection on them. I refuse to buy those ones at all.I'd watch out - Limewire for PC's is not a good idea - soon the police will be prosecuting in this country as they are in the US using computers able to track the limewire servers and who is using them and downloading illegal files. Why do you think itunes music stores has suddenly boomed in the U.S after the new legislation was introduced!
IF you are using a Macintosh computer fear not as with most things macintosh's are way cooler and can go 8undecteted as with Virus' that attack PC's mac's are immune to these and the police intercepting limewire's server information.
I use itunes for my music despite owning an imac as it's only 79p per song you get artwork and the quality is better
It doesn't 'force' you to share your music at all, a few clicks and you can change your sharing folders. It's not difficult at all.Limewire gives you the option *cough* persuades you *cough* to share your music when installing - the majority of people evidently do or limewire could not exist - and in the U.S it is now illegal to download it and the different as it stands with the UK is that they are prepared to enforce it - soon to spread over to our English legal system soon though.
I guess i could do without it though, I'll miss it. You wouldn't happen to know if its going to be illegal to use limewire here, and when they are going to start prosecuting for illegal downloads in the UK?
