Lime green betta

Has any one seen a lime green betta before? I remember seeing one in a Walmart....Can't believe they had so much intresting colors like purple and black, I wish brought them, It was such a long time ago, when I was into fishkeepin. now I can't find them anymore!

Hmm - well, I think that finding a green one in any shade is a pretty hard thing to do. Every once in a great while I'll see one that's either green, or yellow, or orange - ya know, the hard colors to find. Most times they're perfectly healthy and I have no reason to bring one of them home.

I think if you're looking for one of that color, you might have to go to a breeder and find one actually.

You could just keep scouring the fish stores in your area but it might be quite a while before you find one.

Wow that rare huh? Now I really wish I had brought them. I tried surfing the web for a picture of a lime green betta but had no luck in finding one. I just think lime green is a really cool color on a fish. If anyone can find a pic of a lime green betta it would be cool! Still can't believe Walmart carry such a rare betta.........

I saw a very nice lime green betta at pets mart in ocala flroida yesterday. I was going to buy him along with a purple marble one butwe where only visiting ocala,

Albino

Actually, I'd say one of the rarest colours out there right now is purple... not violet, mind you, but true purple. Yellow and orange used to be rare but I've seen more and more of those lately.

Nah, I had an opaque white albino (with blue eyes). That's albino for bettas right? My white fish... the one in my avatar!

Yeah, purple is DEFINITELY hard to find. And bright yellow. And straying from the iridescence is always good. Gotta find one that's REALLY the right color.

No, that's opaque
Albinos have pink eyes and are see-through... not opaque.
If they are see-through and don't have pink eyes they're cellophane (like Loki in my sig)

i know a guy who has a purple betta! he is gorgeous (the betta not the guy ) he wants to breed the betta with a red female and ruin the beautiful colors its a dark purple ... very VERY pretty

Purple really? I saw a true purple female at petco and dark black/purple male betta at walmart.... I should had brought them!!! didn't know they were so rare!!!!!!!!!!

i saw a purple betta at petsmart i am going there today to get two more. I really want a crowntail but nowhere near here sells them
