Lily-pad Has Given Birth! *updated*

Lily-Pad is a gorgeous Chocolate Himalayan Guinea Pig. She has been down to Shrewsbury visiting a Satin Himalayan boar. Hopefully within the next 3 weeks we will have some piglets and will Lily-Pad carrying Satin in her genes there will be Satin and Normal coats babies, I cant wait.

Here is a couple of pictures of Lily-Pad the day I picked her up...

I will keep you updated with the birth of the piglets and how much she grows, bless her.

I checked Lily-Pad over last night before I went to be and her pelvis is starting to open so the birth will be upon us within a week. The babies where less active as usual too which is a sign that its getting a bit tight in Lily's womb.
I will take some pictures of her later on after she has been cleaned out, Nina is keeping her company, Lily's birthing partner, lol!

Still no babies, she is keeping me waiting. I had her out for a cuddle and they are still moving around so they must be ready to come out soon, lol.

awww, she looks like the guinea pig i had when i was little, named Sophie, except sophie was a bit more grey coloured. How many babies do guinea pigs usually have? sooo cute!

This was Lily-Pad just under 12hrs before she gave birth...

I was lucky enough to witness the birth and take some pictures, sorry about the quality of some...

They are stunning, I can't wait to see when they get there points and decide if they are satin or carrier.
