Just a thought I wanted to run by everyone :)

in a 10 gallon, could i put two 1"Percula clown fish, live rock (whatever that is) an anenome (i've heard they are hard to maintain) and a few other lil guys to keep them company? I'm just getting started, so any advice would be helpful. I would probably buy premade water from my lfs, so i'm not to worried about messing up the water :D I've been trying to do research ont he web, but everything seems to be about breeding...:book: Lemme know what you think! :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish:

I'm afraid it is just not as simple as that. marine fish are in general, a lot more sensative than tropical. in a small tank, like that, conditions would fluctuate stressing the fish. an anenomy is again, definatly out. don't be tricked into buying "nemo kits" as I know a lot of lfs are selling these for the one aim of making money out of begginers to the hobby. I would stick to tropical freshwater for now and if you really want nemo, then I would consider a 40 gallon + and read as much as you can. even then anenomys are out of the question as the tank needs to be at least 6 months old ans you need very good lighting.

ste :)

Do more research. Saltwater is a lot different than fresh, different equipment and everything. Anemones need somewhat expensive lighting and are relatively hard to take care of. Tank sounds too small too... dont just take this from me though: as I said, more research.

Dont just get a tank because you want a Nemo. You need more experience than what is in your signature... off to a great start though... maybe think of a marine tank in a few years ;)

nemo kits :-(  :p :D  I'm such a sucker for gimmicks, just ask me how many times i've watched the miracle blades infomercial, or the temperpedic mattress informercial. and if i had a credit card, they'd me mine lol. :-( i wanna nemo kit...and a STARFISH :D
