SoI just bought a new light fixture, 36 inch twin bulb. They are 30 watt, 6500K lights 'Daylight' bulbs. Now maybe I am just used to my other 1 20 watt bulb. This new one looks very green. Is this normal?

Both of them for 15$? That's a good price. Why didn't you decide to get 3 instead? And can I buy these bulbs at any lighting store? What about Home Depot? I'm looking to make a new hood for my 33 gal. and what you have seems great! I'll prolly try to add one more tube if I can.
Also, since you bought these lights I assume you've already made your hood. I remember a thread of yours in the DIY forum asking for advice on how to make it.
edit - what a coincidence, when I bought the tank 2nd hand it came with an aqua glo as well. I just might be posting the exact same thing as you are soon...![]()
