I was recently at my local PetCetera and there fish tanks have a really neat colour to them due to the lighting. Does anyone have any information about these lights?
It was light bluish green but a light tone of bluish green.

there are lots of different lights out there with different colour effects

did you ask them, they should be more than happy to supply you with the info (and the lights)

You know, I thought the same thing while I was at my LFS one day, so I flat asked.

They use 6700K and 10,000K bulbs throughout their lights. Nothing special.

When I had 6500K over my 55 Gallon I noticed a much better look of the fish.

I would not recommend 10,000K over a Freshwater tank though.
