hey,

im busy getting some stuff for my new 2 metre tank,now the lights are 1 of the biggest issues...

here is what i can get and was thinking of ...

i can only afford one of them.. or the option that i like is :

was thinking of the 54 watt quad unit, 2x 10 000ks and 2x atnic ?

want to go full reef...

do i need to cover the top of the tank or only put this pendant over the tank ?

9 feet long... you will need 4 of the mh minimum and 150w , or two of the t5 fixtures. you will get about the same light from either of those configurations assuming the t5-hood has individual parabolic reflectors, which is not clear to me since there was no picture or description.

was thinking of getting 3x 80 watt T5's 10 000k and

1x 80 watt T5 atnic ?

all the bulbs will be good for the health of most corals. I have had some sps take 6 months to acclimate. Once they do and they balance out... boom growth.

see other post... its up to your eye... its a display tank after all
