Lights Have Gone Pop....

Hello i have a rena fish tank one of the bulbs kept flashing and wouldn't stay on so toke the bulb out and put it back in again and seemed to off fixed it.... Now a few weeks later both of them have gone...... The one that was faulty last time will not come on at all and the other one flashes....

i have measured the tube and its 895mm so the length is fine...
how long can plants go with out light has well ??

sorry for double posting but does any one know what are the best t8 tubes for plants ?? and are there any good 30watt t8 tubes around that i can buy online ?
