Ello, we're looking at getting a new globe for the 4ft tank, as the one thats in it atm is very old and I am wondering what kind would be best?
The tank is quite heavily planted, and currently contains 5 congo tetra's, 3 Banded rainbows, 1 dwarf gourami and 1 small archer.
What spectrum of light would you reccomend getting to bring out the colors on those fish? (it needs to provide plenty of light for the plants aswell).
As an aside is there a real problem with using 2$ globes from kmart? Or the cheaper brands as compared to the expensive brands of aquarium globe (25-50$AU).
