Hi All,

im planning for an oscar some silver dollars and / or rainbow fish and a plec of some kind. id like some java fern and some i think hygrophila anything else? What kind of T8 tubes do you suggest would be ok for this tyoe of set up. Please feel free to suggest / comment on any of the above.

What size is the tank?

I'd like an oscar but dont have the room for a big enough tank at the moment.

For a 150 gallon tank, it will take quite a bit of light to even grow java ferns. I would guess that you need at least 120 watts of T-8 or even more.
