Lighting???????

Has anyone tried halogen lighting with inverts???
im looking for ways to light a nano reef and was thinking about a desk lamp like this:

it wouldn't heat the tank and ive had loads of succsess using them in my chameleon nurserys

or shall i put a relevent bulb into one of these:

is there somewhere online i can get hold of power compacts??

you'd be best going for a single 150 or something like that. if you visit marinelighting.co.uk and they do cheap lowbays. the spectrum has to be right for inverts. for that reason, you can't use the bulb supplyed so you will need a 10,000k bulb which you can get for about £30 online. A mate of mine got a 400w lowbay for his reef the otherday and the unit and bulb cost him about £70 in total.
