Went down the LFS to have a look around and look for a light. I need at least 2wpg for my 22g and i saw a 30w light, it said buy the reflector and you get double the wattage. Is this true or just trying to get you to buy their products? Obviously this would give a 60w which would be perfect.

Sounds fishy to me...

A Reflector will definitely help, but will it give you twice as much light? I doubt it...

The WPG rule assumes you are already using reflectors.
