Lighting Question

I was wondering if I could use a Zoo Med Ocean Sun 10,000K T-8 Bulb in one of my tanks, 7 gallon, or if it would be way too bright. I'm honestly not too familiar with non-stock lighting but I can get the zoo meds cheaper.
