Lighting Problem

Got a new tank today, a juwel 120, setting it up...tried the light worked left it on for a while it...it flicked off...was busy filling the tank so i didn't think anything of it till it flicked back on again....then after getting it all set up i turned the light back on...it worked...left it on for an hour then it just went off never to come on again ? does this sound like the tube ? or is there a problem with the light unit ?

Guess your never going to know until you fit a new tube and see. The Juwel Rekord range is notorious for failing ballasts, which I might add are concealed/encased inside a compartment in the plastic hood. They are damm hard to get at.
If its the ballast that s gone you can get an "I" bar conversion kit for your 120.
