Lighting My 240 Gallon

So, I am currently setting up my 240 gallon, have reef experience with my 100 gallon but never used LEDs, I was wondering if using 5 of the panorama PRO light strips for my 7x2x2 tank would suffice for sps, would be mounted on the hood hanging about 6-7 inches from the surface. It seems like an inexpensive and effective way to reach my entire tank.



Would go with the 12k White/445nm Blue

LEDs can really be hit or miss depending on the quality and strength of the LEDs used... I would suggest trying to find some PAR levels on these from the company. That would be really helpful.

I don't know anything about LED's either. Other than I want Radion's for my 40 breeder

Thank you for the help nemo I did some more reading and I'm going to get 2 hang on mounts and do 4 AI LEDs

I'm using the sol model, and they are AWESOME with SPS. I have my 125 lit with them and my SPS are amazing under them. Great polyp extension and growth. Just know that a lot of the time LPS don't do as well with LED's as they will with halides or T5's.
