Lighting Help

Right my 3 foot fish tank hood has an old flourescet tube at the back of it.

The hood is made out of wood and i would like to convert it to have two lighting tubes

How would i go about this???

What would be the best way to mount it to the Hood???

you can buy cheap starter units from ebay or any other pets/fish store and they will come complete with tube clips which crew directly into your hood. put the end caps from the starter onto the tube ends and then clip the tube into the clips and job is done.

Starter would be approx £10 for a 15-20W and you would be powering a 24" 18W T8 with it.
