Metal Halides are a good way to go, but if you have Power Compact T5's, you can keep BTA's as long as you have multple bulbs. Although its not a good way of goimg, people say to have 4 watts per gallon of lighting for a BTA

i have a trigon 350 which is 76 gallons, my bulbs are 2 x white at 45w each and 2 actinics at 24w each
