Lighting for 75gal help plz.

Ok.. im going to buy a 4 tube fixture to sit on my tank.. (75gal tank.)

most likely T8..

are there 48" t-8 aqaurium lights available? i've seen 36" and 42" but no 48"

i see lots of T12 48"

also what bulbs should i use on a planted tank..

i want at least 1 bulb that enhances fish colors... and others that help promote plant growth..


even if there generic bulbs from HD..

I would also love to learn more about lighting big tanks.

I have an 80 gallon and light it with just two 36" regular fishe tank bulbs. I kind og keep it off center so the fish have a dark well panted corner to hide in and I only use artificial plants. Much as I like live ones I prefer the less bright lights and the plants don't seem to thrive in that setting for me. Of course I also keep a slightly acid tank and not many plants like those conditions.
