Hey guys I have a new tank that I am going to do an amanoesque style setup but I need to beef the lighting up a bit. Now looking around becausae the hood is only small (18"x18"x18") Im really confused as to what I can put in there! I have been looking at the ASL compact freshwater plant lights that are 16 " 36 W T5 bulbs. These sound perfect but I confused as to what controller they will need because they are T5 bulbs....  I hope I havent confused you basically what I am saying is If I want four of these T5 bulbs what would I need to make these work??

with 4 of those you'd also need pressurised co2, i dont think diy co2 youd be enough with that much light over a small tank

I'd agree with that. Most planted tanks with more than 2 WPG will require co2.

Sorry i didnt mean to say 4 tubes just the 2! ! Would a 24/39 W double T5 electronic controller work??
