I have plenty of light, but I managed to get a really cheap starter unit (ie, £2!) I currently have 85watts over my Rio 180 (light bar and second starter unit). I find that the light produced is a bit yellow and the tank seems a bit dull. I want to pick out a bit more green of my plants and the colours of my fish (Pentazona barbs, harlequin rasboras and leopard danios, so oranges and gold sort of colours).

My existing tubes are 2x arcadia freshwater (30w) and 1x Zoo med Ultrasun (25w). I plan to mount this new one at the front of the tank. Any recomentations?

I use the tried and tested combo of Daylight plus and Triplus and the greens in the plants and the colours in the fish definitely are more apparent. Big Thumbs up for me (esp. as Interpet gave me new tubes with the correct reflector FOC!)

Sweet :D how'd you manage that? ;)

The positioning of the light(s) is also important, placing a light to the front of the tank lets light shine directly on the side of the fish, often resulting in the best reflection of colour from the fish. My copper harlequins stood out amazingly well once I put my two tubes in, instead of the original single tube.
