Basically I have 3 T5's over my tank; 2 white and one 'red', looks pink to me but nevertheless.

Im wondering what lighting arrangement I can use to get the most colour/vibrancy out of my fish? I keep Discus in this community, would 2 white and 1 blue be a better combination?

I have the 48" marineland led light, it is super bright and has all white lights with 6 blue ones and looks very nice, you can switch it to blue only at night and looks very cool, so my guess would be blue with the white would look great, but I am still pretty new to this but with what I see in my tank the blue would be good.

When I was keeping discus I had my normal white lights and I fitted 2 strips of blue LED lights which would be on 24/7 looked stunning in the day and night.

Cheers for the advice guys :) looks like blue LEDs are the way forward for me then. I might have to take the lid off some time to see where I can install some LED's..

You can get some cheap off eBay that just stick on to any surface, I have 2 in my tank been there for 2 years and are still stuck on strong. Only thing I dislike about them is there US plug (2 pin) so need a converter.
