How often do i need to leave my 30w light on for a 20gallon tank with about 2 m of anarcharis ( roughly if they were all put together)

should i jsut move the tank near the window?
that wouldnt be too convenient but could happen

i don't think you should let a tank get direct sunlight...think it encourages algae.

I personally leave my lights on for 5 hours on, 2 hours off, 5 hours on. Then off over night.

one problem with that is that alot of the days i usuualy wake up at 11

haha yea i kno but most weekdays im up about 8, ill try your idea
