Ok, so i have kind of a question. I have a 48in light for my 50 gal tank. I want to install 2 moonlight LED bars, each about 15in, on the inside of the fixture. Any ideas? I also want to do the same for my 20in 10gal tank. Can anyone help me find a way to modify the fixtures so i can add them in. I dont need to rewire anything, as the moonlights have separate plugs.

I had come up with one idea. (for the 50 gal) I was thinking about cutting out behind the bulb on each side of the fuse, and install them there. But i opened it up, and the ballast is in the way of that idea. (for the 10 gal) I thought about doing the same thing, instead, there is no fuse, so i was going to just cut across the whole thing, but again, the ballast is in the way. Any ideas?!

The cold cathodes are siliconed in the middle. Nice and easy

if there's room between the bulbs that is an option, as long as you think it will run cool enough.

i drilled some holes in the rear of my light to mount the power supply plus two cold cathodes
