Light at night?

Is it better for the fish to have a dim light in the tank during the night or is it alright to keep the tank in pitch black dark? What are your opinions? Somtimes my fish vanish and are never seen the next morning

I dunno, you have figure the moon pushes down enough light to partially like the water. So it might be a cool idea to put some soft blue leds on your hood and have them turn on at night.

You can turn the lights off at night. Fish need some hours of darkness a day. They do have special night lighting if you'd like to have a moonlight glow.
