Lighs Get Hot!

When getting tims frag out my tank I burnt my arm.

I would just like to point out that the lights get very very hot and this happeren to me with only a few milli seconds contact!

I have found that I can get rid of any heaters in my tank now as the MH lamps are more than enough to keep the tank warm. In fact I think I may have to look into a cooling system for the summer.

burning your self on an mh bulb is very painful..i to have doen it!
one night i was just opening the canopy, and my hand hit my mh bule (it had been on for hours) i burned the whole way across the top of my right hand! had to go to the hospital.. had second degree burns .. they said the buld must of been so hot my hand actually got stuck to the bulb when my hand it hit..so i had to get a needle to fight enfection, and alot of bandges and creams put on forweeks!
