I have a empty 55 gallon tank and im hoping to put a piranha in it (S.Compressus) and since i have quite a bit of extra cash on me i want an excellent filtration system. So I want a fluidized bed for awesome biological. I was thinkg one of these and connect one of these mechanical filters to it through the bottom port. and add a filter that im currently making (im in the process of making a DIY wet/dry filter for mechanical, chemical, heating, and extra aeration). I know this is more than enough filtartion but my question is what do i need to buy to operate the lifeguard filter i.e 1or2 pumps, a power head?
