life glo or power glo

Hi guys
i am just starting out and i would like some help on tank lights .at the moment i have one triton light but i would like to add another one . could someone please tell me if the power glo and the life glo are ok for plants .and witch is the better of the two . i dont really want to have a yellow tinge to the tank

I think that life glow is aimed at reef tanks but will stimulate plant growth as well

have you asked you lfs what they think?

If you want a cool but strange purpley glow then chose the aqua glow!

ive got 2 power-glo and 1 life-glow in my tank and the plants love it. it also brings out the color in the fish.

am thinking of changing 1 power-glo to a aqua-glo. gives same amout of life but some fish that dont like intnese like prefer it.

here's how the current lights show up the tank

thanks cossack tank looks great . so out of all your tubes dose the power glo look more blue than the life glo . or is the aqua glo more blue

life glo is a yellow white light
power glo is a purple
aqua blow is a deeper purple

none really look blue

think i will go with maybe a power glo or a aqua glo . dose the power glo work better in a deeper tank ? i have read somwhere that the aqua glo is a waste of space as its not a very bright tube
