LFS's

Does anyone know if most LFS's will order fish in for you, because the ones in my area dont stock the fish that i want in-store

No harm in asking.

Most LFS have one or more suppliers with whom they place orders from a list of fish that the supplier has available. If the fish you're looking for is available from one of those suppliers, they can just add it to the want list for the next shipment. If it's not available through a supplier... alas, you're out of luck.

That's how it usually works at least.

If it is a true fish store then the most likely will as long as they can get it from one of their suppliers. The owner of the small store near me told me he would get me any fish I wanted as long as he could find it. If it's a chain like Petsmart or Petco it is very doubtful as they have their stock list and that is most likely all they can get.
