ok i have installed my seaclone skimmer for now until funds upgrade to a aqua medic turbo float any ways the thing is is going great one snag ..... were the water returns to the tank its about 2.5 inches above the water level ok so when the water hits the water i get bubbles not micro ones just bubbles and water movement now is this good or bad? if bad well how could i make the, call it the water slide longer so it reaches the water ok iam tired this is the best thing i can call it lol , or should i just leave it ? advice plsssss p.s cant cut the tank to lower it / yours Skitzzz
ooooooo my live rock arrives tomorrow iam sooooooo excited

I would leave it as is as long as its not creating micro bubbles in the water. Larger bubbles are actually a good thing and the water crashing into the tank further adds aeration to the tank.

Should you not have bubbles in a marine tank then, sorry I'm new to this sort of thing. In my fresh water tropical tank with have air stones in the water, is this not advisable for marine ?

hi thankyou for your input i think i will go with the square filter sponge idea to cut down on just some of the bubbles oooooo my live rock now in tank its lovely just gotta wait now for the cycle to start kids are so excited they on a mission now first one to see something that looks alive gets 50p lol well they only 5

bubbles aren't a problem as long as they are esthetically pleasing to the tank owner. In most aquarium keepers view, bubbles (especially micro bubbles) look tacky and take away from the beauty of the tank.

the' foam sock ' ill call it works like a charm no more hundreds of bubbles just few now looks better aswell
thanks all
