Leopard Danio

Its not a problem as such, more something ive noticed. At first i thought my eyes were playing tricks as they are really fast swimmers, but no.
Some of them have whiskers, kind of like koi have those barbs from the mouth. Its only a few of them and ive got what i think are 9 females to 1 male as he has the long finnage. The ones with the whiskers are the largest females. Anyone noticed this with their danios as all the pics ive seen of them have them without any?

almost all danionins have barbles, some are more prominant than others
like the aptly named moustached danio Danio dangila.

I have just looked at mine and a couple have whiskers aswell, I have had mine a year and I hadn't noticed either.

You notice it more when you turn the tank lights off then shine a torch in hehe.
