cheers :good:

thanks guys, i'm really pleased with them. can't wait to get them paired up! as Carlovel1 said, they are a colour variant of the common BN, and although they are often called L144, that is actually incorrect, as L144 is a different, very similar, but rarer species.

they are a great looking pleco, and just that bit different to your average BN.

cheers :good:

Amazing colour! Are they just a different colour version of ordinary BN or another species?

Just a different colour version of Bristlenose Pleco but these have their own L number, L144.

As probably mentioned in previous post, i cant remember lol....

They will be descendants of a 'true' 144, originally thought to have been cross bred with a normal gene common BN many moons ago and pretty much line bred to throw out 144 variant only over time.

As mentioned not a 'true' 144 but as close as you will probably get in the trade for any amount of time to come.

Lovely looking fish p.control and look extremely healthy :)
