leleupi in my tank??

hey all-
my lfs has had a very cute leleupi cichlid for a few weeks... he's about an inch long and seems mild mannered... With my current setup, do you think he will terrorize my fish? All of my fish, except for the "Rombo" barbs are significantly larger than he would be when introduced, yet I dont think any of them would be too aggressive towards him since they tolerate the barbs so well...

Would it work? Probably, Leleupi can fend for themselves, and tend to leave other inhabitants as well. Would I put this hard water rock dwelling fish in a soft water tank? Probably not.

do you mean that it requires minerals to be added to the water?

I don't know if I'd say that they require it, but they certainly do best in water that is harder with a higher PH.

thanks for the info -- my ph has been hovering around 7.8 (although I've been trying to bring it down with frequent water changes as the tapwater is around 7.5).

i will read up somemore on these interesting little fish, as obviously my first concern is for his health, perhaps i can find a balance...
