Hi, i am from PERU, and i have to many amazons fish.

I was reding yours post.. and i found one fish, you call Peruano.

and we call ASHARA

Leiarius mamoratus “Ashara”

well. i have one of this. but i thik something it no going good with my fish.
look like depress. and swim some time.

now is 6" long without antennas.
the antennas are 6" long too.

i have another cat fish but diferent type.

Few questions for you,

What size tank do you keep it in?
Have you tested your water quality for nitrate, nitrite and ammonia?
What kind of filtration do you have on the tank?

If you can answer these questions we should be able to help you further.
