Hi,

I've been looking on eBay for some moonlight LED strips, preferably with a dimmer controller, but I'd rather go for something tried and tested.

Anyone bought any that they could recommend?

It will be for a 90cm tank.

cheers!

Blue leds on ebay

I got these about 7 months ago and they are just superb. They give a moon-beam effect. I hold them in place by drilling holes in the plastic top rim of the tank then fasten with cable ties. They are waterproof. I have them on a timer to come on just before the main lights go out . Fully recommend them

looks great in your tank, doesn't seem to have a dimmer on them though? I'd like to be able to control the brightness.

Doresy just curious as I like the look how long is the tank and how many sets did you use? It looks like 5 to me?

I do have some blue led lights but there a bit weak so I am looking to replace my existing ones or augment them.

Regards onebto.

I've just found these for £10 and the brightness can be altered.

going to give them a go.

I used 5 for a 4 foot tank.

Incidently, the brightness is alot more subtle than in the photo (camera compensated for low light and over exposed)The effect is outstanding and in my opinion does not need any level adjustment
