Not leaving the forums or anything, but I’m house sitting for two weeks. My sister will be feeding them, but I do not at all trust her to keep an eye on them. To watch them and make sure they’re okay and don’t get sick or need special attention. I don’t have a car to get back home if I need too. I have two that underwent a bit of a divider accident and are ripped up and one that is chronically sick on the heat pad. There’s six other fish on the heat pad with them. I’m thinking of maybe taking all nine and the heat pad with me. It would be a huge pain though and stress the fish to no end with the car ride and everything, so I don’t know which would be a better idea.

I don’t know what to do. Help?

Could you have your parents feed the bettas and medicate any fish that is on meds or a neighbor or close friend?

I'd take em
You'll have a whole house to yourself, no reason to stress and miss your fishies when they can just come along. I don't think a short travel will stress them too much. It seems two weeks without mom would be much more stressful :)

Yeah, if you put them in containers, then put them all in a box so they don't slosh around so much. I used to take my 6 home with me every weekend when I came home from work...to make sure they got WC's and fed..before I built the 22 gallon divided tank.

Never had any ill effect on them at all.

Just bag them, put them in a cooler and dump 50% of tank water into buckets or bags and empty the rest out and take them and the tanks with you.
