Have hadd a leather toadstool for years and but in recent months I've suffered with green algae for some reason and the LR that toadstool root was next to has now become attached along with another small bit of LR, I want to cut them loose and ditch them as they are small bits but with a lot of green on them, my main concern is it may damage the leather? Will try and upload photos later to show as much easier but basically the root goes completely sideways before it grows straight up and the bit that both bits of LR are attached to seems very old to the point it almost looks like a bt of rock itself.
Anyone had any experience with this sort of thing?
