Leaking Rena Xp3

This morning I found out my rena xp3 filter had leaked a couple of gallons of water all over my rug . It has done this before but only when the power goes out, it has never leaked while it was turned on before. It leaks where the top connects to the bottom. The filter is only about 3-4 years old and is serviced every 2-3 months. any ideas?

rub vasiline around the rubber seal to guarentee a tight fit and then you wont get water all over i have thhe same problem with my filter

had same problem and was probably the same age

i think i changed the seal and it happend 3 months later. i then rubbed vasaline as sad about and done it and month later.

so i bought a new realible filter
