lazy betta

hey, i have a divided 10g and in on of the spaces an air hose runs down the back and forms kind of a hamock. well my red/orange male plakat that i got from kelly keeps wanting to rest in it. he doesn't seem sick, tank is clean, healthy fish. if he just lazy? i know he's quite the character, but the little goofball makes me frreak out when i see him laying around limp in his resting spot

Sounds like your guy just foind a cozy resting spot! As long as he is moving aroud sometimes and is eating, I wouldn't worry.

yea he comes out at night (still on texas time i suppose), and he eats when i feed him, seems normal to me

My boy Six lays on leafs on his plant in his tank ALL the time.
I was convinced he was sick, but he has done it since day one.
Ironically, he sits in a tank right next to Lucky the tail-less wonder who is a complete psycho freak and doesn't sit still for a minute.

So I would say that some of them are just complete lazybutts.
