Laying on ground

Ok so Ive seem my boys just lay on the ground when they are relaxing but never my females intill tonight. I just got home I had the light off. I turned it on to see what my females were doing on one of my girls was laying on the ground leaning up against the tank side. Ive never seen her lay like this before and it has me worried Also I noticed some of her color is gone, shes not as bright as she usually is...
Please give me advice

Edited - She is now hiding in the ordinament I have in the tank....

Edit - I have taken her out because her color is really really gone now... I should also add I added a new girl to the tank whom I had only had for about 4 days... I know I should of kept her quartined but I didnt... The thing is shes fine along with the other three girls that are in there. Should I take the newest girl out to?

hmm has she been eating? maybe she was stressed from the introduction of the new girl.

Yes, shes been eating. They all have been eating like normal. The new girl is shy when it comes to food but I make sure she gets her share at feeding time. The new girl I added yesterday (Thurs) And the new girl - her name is Boo is so passive and dosent bother anyone so Im not sure thats it...

Edit- I took out the new girl as well. Is it normal for females to lay on the ground like the males?

Does anyone know whats wrong? Please help They have both been out of the tank since last night. The girl who was laying on the bottom who lost her color has her color back now. The new girl I took out still looks the same which is fine...
Should I pu them back in? Im so confused as to what to do

Well I really don't know much about bettas, but have you checked the temperature? And maybe take them into a local petstore to have them test the water and look at the fish. Sorry, I couldn't help more. Good luck!

I have a water test kit and did the tests and everything is fine. The girl who lost her color has all her color back. Shes eating and pooping fine. The new girl I took out seems fine as well.
Should I just put them back in the tank again? What would of caused my girl to loose her color and lay on the ground?

Ive put them both back in the tank..... If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them
