Hey guys, i just bought a car, so i'm trying to downsize my 90 gallon into like a 30-46gallon bowfront tank.
Will be keeping all livestock, selling 50 lbs of rock, and all the old tank stuff.
I was wondering what your thoughts were on running this size tank skimmerless. I would be converting a big aquaclear filter into a hob fuge with chaeto for nitrate/phosphate removal. I could also couple this with a hob filter with further phosphate removing material.
Fish livestock would be light: 2 clowns and 1 diamond goby
CuC of course
all corals are either LPS or softies so I don't need pristine water provided by a huge skimmer.
What do you think?
