I was looking around the internet and so far found that L64 is the largest pleco, but couldn't find any pictures, I was wondering if someone could confirm that this is the largest and provide some pictures, if not, could they tell which is the largest and provide some pictures.

Thanks :good:

According to the Shane's World section of Plantet catfish:
In size, Loricariids range from the giant Acanthicus species that can grow to over three feet in length to the tiny members of Otocinclus that rarely attain sizes of more than an inch or two.

Found this too:

Acanthicus currently comprises two species, A. hystrix and A. adonis. A. hystrix has been recorded at over 80cm, while a specimen of adonis measured over a metre.

From: http://www.tropicalfishfinder.co.uk/article_detail.asp?id=32

Also not sure what species this is (I've seen this pic on another forum listed as a liposarcus of some type):

Edit: It's pseudacanthicus hystrix as above, just found it again.
