Larger Tetras

Does anyone know of any larger species of tetra (no silver dollars) that can be kept with a Senegal Bichir, a Black Ghost Knifefish, and possibly a Leiarius Pictus?

any of the three Tetragonopterus specis, if you can get hold of them
(good news is sept/nov is the season they are exported.)
I have T.argenteus with mine.
I also keep adult discus tetra Brachychalcinus orbicularis with my bichirs
but when I added juvies they quickly disappeared

I would also consider adult black widows and adult bleeding hearts
basically any of the deep bodied tetra should be fine.

Would a small school of Bala Sharks (4 or 5) be fine in the tank? It's 6x2x1', or would it be too small.
