I have one large male Bristlenose plec 11-12cms and 2 females around 5-6cms - Would the large size difference male : female make any difference as to the possibility of them breeding?

I have had them for about a month now and would be over the moon at the possibility of them breeding as I have only bred livebearers before.

Thank you.

If the females were bigger than the male considerbly then yes sometimes the male just cant trap the female, your females are probably just not mature enough to breed, give them caves etc etc and let nature take it's course :)

Many thanks - patience is the game. I do have a tank that is perfectly set up for Bristlenoses and Clown loaches loads of caves etc in a 300 litre tank.
