Large Golden Apple Snail Ampullaria Diffusa

Could say i have had a dabble with them lol :fun:

Yes they eat plants but not all of them seems to depend on the snail. I have some that have destroyed my planted tank and other that are not fussed.

They eat algae but dont depend on them as a clean up crew they need their diet supplemented with wafers, cucumber, pellts etc :good:

Give me a shout if you have some more questions ill try help out

PS: I have sold snails bigger and better then that link for £2 that link is expensive mate

Thanx for the great advice bruiser and for the high price warning. Much apprechiated!
Il think il leave them, i really dont want to take the chance with my plants.
I know absolutely nothing about snails lol. What im looking for really is a snail species thats attractive, will eat rotting leaves and algae, but wont touch my plants, and wont get HUGE, like 6 inches... if such a species exsists.
This is not to solve an algae problem as i have very very little algae due to pressurised co2 injection.
Can you recommend any species?

Thanx for the help

MTS (Malaysian Trumpet Snails) stay small and don't touch plants. However they mostly bury themselves into the substrate.

My apple snails haven't touched my live plants.

Sounds about right for retail/LFS. I do expect for that price for them to have bright shells with no pitting or algea and for them to be bigger then a large marble :good:
