Large Cherry Shrimp

My nicest looking large female shrimp. I do have others with similar or better coloring, but they tend to be smaller. She was born in my tank going on two years ago. Most of my large shrimp died when I had a tank crash. She is currently my largest red cherry shrimp as well. I only just recently put her in a breeding tank. Up until now she had been in my DCL tank, where the shrimplets get eaten quickly. I am getting some blue shrimp in the mail next week (hopefully along with my halloween vampire crabs). Do you guys have a favorite invertebrate in your tanks?

They are fun and pretty easy to breed. You will want to add new ones to your colony at least once a year, to keep the lines fresh and inbreeding down. You get weird colors otherwise.

Definitely add new blood. I would recommend as often as 4-6 months.

i have a super nice idea:
i will breed them in the dense forest of my tank so the big guppies cant eat them, and then when the time comes (4 months) i will sell 3 of them because my store takes store credit 1/3 and get a new little one

Here are some I took last night after drip acclimatization. They sent me 8 rather than 5.

Blue velvit shrimp are a nice colour, my local garden centre finally has some in so i might buy some more, have your vampire crabs arrived?
I don't know much about them i have only seen photos are they easy to look after, is it a complete different tank set up for them?

They came in the same order. I got 4 B grade Halloween Vampire Crabs. Here are some pics of them and their tank. The plastic plants are only until I can get to buys some real ones, lol.

They are really cool, i love purple.
Trying to find some purple shrimp, they exist but i've never seen them before haha.
