Lampeye Deaths

hi dont know if anyone can help i have a 16 gal tank that i have been keeping a small group of 13 lampeye killis water stats are fine temp is stable but after a water change on friday they spawned had a large group of babies but the adults have started to die lost 7 out of the 13 so far. i got 7 other tanks that all had water changes on the same day with no probs just cant think what the problem could be.

Maybe aggression over the babies, do the males kill the females or vice versa maybe? Or do the females die when they've laid eggs? I have no idea, just guessing, sorry for your loss

not noticed any fighting 1st sign of anything wrong is the fish swims nose down for a few mins then dies really cant work out whats wrong
