well I just thought that I would update you guys on my first cichlid fry. of the 2 that I was able to save/actually find, only one has made it. today I was just watching it feed I notice that it is starting to get some of the noticible colorations of the species he finally has a faint black stripe on its dorsal fin!!!!

glad to hear the little nipper's doin ok!

I too had my first cichlid fry recently (after stripping the female myself....dead chuffed!) and i'm proud to say that they're all still alive.........all 32 of them!!!

yeah I also noticed today that he actually knows me it is really funny cause it doesn't matter which side of the tank I am at he comes there in a hurry looking for me

yeah I will definatly try to get one sometime it just always seems that my camera is upstairs when I could get the best pics
