Does anybody have any info about this fish and how much it costs.

I bought 1 a few days ago and it looks exactly the same and has a lyretail.

All i can find on the internet is pictures, no info. But it sure is a nice looking fish i'd say treat it like any other plec, good water quality and feed it algae wafers and give it places to hide! Good Luck

from what i have just looked through, Ancistrinae species of 'plecs' are "omnivorous and easy to feed. Although and effective algae eater, it should be given a varied diet of prepared foods"

it means they will eat cucumber and other veg etc :D

Ok, L082. "Opal Pleco" (pretty fishie)

Found in the rio Xingu in Brazil.

Grows to 13cm, (5 inches)
Temp -24 - 29c
pH - no special requirements (6.5 to 7.2)
Omnivorous - requires meaty foods such as bloodworm as well as vegetable matter
Prefers planted tanks with wood & rocks.
Spawns & raises fry in caves.
Non aggresive, ideal for community tanks.

Does that help?
