L333's And Cherry Shrimp

Not having much luck in the Discussion section so thought i'd post here.

Can they co exist or will the 333's see the shrimp as a late night snack?

Anyone kept meat eating plecos with shrimp?

just scoured other forums. Apparently L333's prefer to be alone but cherry shrimp and tetras make for good tank mates.

Thanks mate. Much appreciated. I'll think i'll go ahead and get some then. The worst that can happen is my 333's will have a a good expensive meal hahaha

I wouldn;t have thought that the plecs would be able to take them alive and eat them

I know that bristlenose will eat RCS and they are primarily an algae/vegetable eating omnivore . Since 333 is primarily a meat eating Hypancistrus, I would bet they will also. My understanding is that RCS tend to prefer water cooler than 333 as well. Amanos would probably be a better choice as long as you are not spawning stuff in the tank.

I will give the cherry's a chance. As i said before, at least they'll get a good meal haha

Im going to turn the heater down a touch for the cherry's. 27c should keep them both happy
